Firefighters Say Capital City Fence Co. Catches Fire, Building now Gone

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A commercial building housing Capitol City Fence Co. caught on fire Sunday, Jan. 12, firefighters say the building’s structure is gone.
The Indianapolis Fire Department first responded to the fire at 9:58 a.m. at 920 E Ohio Street, east of I-70 near Pine Street.
Capitol City Fence Co. is a chain link and wood fence company.
The owner had a personal amount of ammunition in the building that popped off for a half hour during the fire.
All four sides of the building are structurally unsound. Firefighters held a perimeter around the building.
No injuries were reported by IFD.
