ISP Investigating Death of Tippecanoe County Inmate

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. — State Police are investigating after an inmate at a Tippecanoe County Community Corrections facility died.
Staff members apparently found the unresponsive inmate – who has not yet been publicly identified – around 9:30 p.m. Thursday. He/she was taken to the hospital, but did not survive.
At this time, officers believe the individual may have had a “medical emergency.” More information should be released in the near future by the Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office.
