INDIANAPOLIS—The Detroit Lions improved to 10-1 with a 24-6 victory over the Indianapolis Colts Sunday afternoon at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Lions dominated time of possession by holding the ball for 37 minutes. The Colts defense sacked Lions quarterback Jared Goff three times and racked up nearly 20 quarterback pressures, but the Lions offense found a way.
Detroit racked up 137 rushing yards collectively. 90 of those yards came from Jahmyr Gibbs and 37 came from David Montgomery. Gibbs had one rushing touchdown and Montgomery rushed one in as well.
Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson completed 11 of 28 passes for 172 yards and had 61 rushing yards.
The Colts were penalized 10 times for 75 yards. They drop to 5-7 with the loss. They face the 3-9 New England Patriots next Sunday at 1 pm.
