Two Injured in Randolph County House Explosion

LYNN, Ind. — Two people were injured in a house explosion Tuesday evening around 7:00.
The Lynn Fire Department and Randolph County Emergency Medical Services went to the home just after everyone escaped. They had to call in backup from other neighboring departments:
- Modoc Fire
- Losantville Fire
- Farmland Fire
- Williamsburg Fire
- Perry Township-Economy Fire
- Lutheran Air Medical
- Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office
One person was taken to a hospital in Richmond, and the other person was taken to a hospital in Dayton, where they are both recovering.
Firefighters haven’t said how the explosion happened, but they said a gas leak couldn’t have been the cause.
