INDIANAPOLIS — An argument after a youth football game at Cardinal Ritter High School in Indianapolis ended with a shooting.

Indianapolis Metro Police were called around 10 o’clock Saturday night. Witnesses say one team was upset after losing and parents and coaches from opposing sidelines started arguing.

That’s when one person pulled out a gun and shot two men on the opposite side, says IMPD Night Watch Captain Rob Rider.

“One was transported in critical condition,” said Rider in a Saturday night media scrum, “and one is in stable condition. Two officers were close to the scene. They were close to the scene and were able to provide medical attention pretty quickly.”

No suspect is in custody as of Sunday morning, says IMPD.
