Remembering Fallen Beech Grove Police Officer William Toney

On September 29, 2000, Beech Grove Police Officer William Toney was killed in the line of duty.

Officer Bill Toney was on duty when he was shot and killed during a pursuit of a car theft suspect that turned into a foot chase. During the foot chase, the suspect turned and fired several shots at Toney, killing the 31-year-old husband and father of two daughters.
