Green Alert Issued for Missing Indianapolis Man

INDIANAPOLIS–The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Justin Cavin. A Green Alert has been issued for him.
Cavin is a 44-year-old white man. He is 6 feet 1 inch tall, 180 pounds, brown hair with green eyes.
Cavin went missing from Southwest Indianapolis and was last seen on Wednesday, September 11 at 10:00 pm. He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

A Green Alert notifies the public that a veteran or military service member is reported missing and believed to be at risk of being hurt or hurting themselves. This alert functions similarly to the state’s Amber Alert for missing children and Silver Alert for missing seniors.
