Floyd County Man Faces Charges After Speeding with Kids in Vehicle
FLOYD COUNTY, Ind. — A driver was arrested after he was pulled over Wednesday.
Indiana State Police were on I-265 westbound around 9 p.m. and spotted an SUV going 96 miles per hour before it merged lanes and going past officers at 85 miles per hour.
Officers pulled over 42-year-old Alexander Jacob Bland with two children in the vehicle, and they found out he was under the influence.
The children were picked up from the scene, and Bland was taken to the Floyd County Jail. He faces charges of driving while under the influence with children in the vehicle.
