LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ind.–In what Indiana State Police are calling a “lengthy drug investigation,” they say they arrested a man from Mitchell for dealing methamphetamine Tuesday.

Investigators say they had received tips that Robbie Leatherman, 45, had been dealing meth in Mitchell. Mitchell is a city in Lawrence County.

A trooper pulled Leatherman over during a routine traffic stop at 5th and Railroad streets. Police say Leatherman was cooperative with them. They arrested Leatherman and took him to the Lawrence County Jail.

Leatherman had an active warrant out for his arrest from Lawrence Superior Court II.

Leatherman has been charged with dealing methamphetamine, which is a Level 5 Felony.
