TRAVERSE CITY, Mich.–President Trump has done more to protect veterans than Joe Biden did when he was Vice President. That was one of the many statements made by Vice President and former Indiana Governor Mike Pence at one of the President’s final rallying stops in Traverse City, Michigan Monday.

“When Joe Biden was Vice President, America saw years of scandal at the Department of Veterans Affairs that shocked the conscience of the nation,” said Pence.

Pence said some veterans were dying while on waiting lists.

“But under President Trump those days are over. President Trump signed the most sweeping reforms of the VA in 50 years. We fired 3,000 VA employees that weren’t giving our veterans the care they need. Veteran’s choice is now available for every veteran in America,” said Pence.

Later at a campaign stop in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, he told a crowd that the voting record of Kamala Harris, Joe Biden’s running mate, left a lot to be desired when it comes to the USMCA agreement.

“She was one of only 10 Senators to vote against the USMCA, even though it was a huge win for Pennsylvania workers and farmers,” said Pence.

Pence also said, if re-elected, President Trump will continue to grow back the economy bigger and better than it has ever been before.

The President’s last campaign rally was early Tuesday morning. The polls close at 6 pm.
