INDIANAPOLIS–The Hoosier Lottery is giving Hoosiers a chance to win $1 million on New Year’s Eve.
The winner would become the Powerball New Year’s Rockin’ Even First Millionaire of the Year.
“Even though many aspects of our lives have changed, the ball will still drop and a new year will begin. This years’ experience might be different, but the shot at winning a million dollars remains.,” said Hoosier Lottery Executive Director Sarah M. Taylor.
Players have until September 14, 2020, to enter their non-winning Powerball tickets into the myLOTTERY 2nd Chance promotion through the Hoosier Lottery app or website. 30 Hoosier Lottery players will each win $500 and a chance to become one of five finalists who could win $1,000,000 on New Year’s Eve.
One of the five finalists can then select one of two VIP Prize packages:
-Finalists interested in ringing in the New Year in “The Big Apple” can choose an all-expense paid VIP trip for two to New York City (includes round-trip airfare, three nights in Manhattan, transportation, access to exclusive events, and $1,000 in spending money.
-Finalists who would rather spend New Year’s Eve in their own home can choose the Party at Home Package (includes a $12,500 cash prize, deluxe surf and turf for eight from Omaha Steaks, 70″ LED TV including a home theater sound system and more.
