WASHINGTON — Vice-President Mike Pence is keeping up a barrage of criticism of Joe Biden’s decision to choose California Sen. Kamala Harris as his running mate on the Democratic ticket.

“I think she is a skilled debater, but I can’t wait to get to Salt Lake City and be on the stage with her,” Pence said on Fox News. “To compare Joe Biden’s nearly 50 years in public life, the agenda of the radical left, the agenda she’s embraced throughout her political career.”

Biden and Harris made their first public appearance together Wednesday.

“We need more than a victory on Nov. 3,” Harris said. “We need a mandate that proves that the past few years do not represent who we are or who we aspire to be. Joe (Biden) likes to say character is on the ballot, and it’s true.”

“Joe Biden’s decision to add Kamala Harris to the ticket confirms everything President Trump and I have been saying and that is that Joe Biden and the Democratic Party have been overtaken by the radical left,” Pence added.

He accuses Biden and Harris being in in favor of higher taxes, socialized medicine, and open borders. Pence is also critical of a plan he says the pair have of formulating their own “Green New Deal.”

Pence is set to face off with Harris in the vice-presidential debate in Salt Lake City on Oct. 7.
