INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett will be delivering his State of the City address tonight.

Hogsett will address leaders of the Indianapolis City-County Council and is expected to speak on a variety of topics regarding the city including public safety and coronavirus mitigation.

“Mayor Hogsett’s remarks will help to kick off the 2021 budget season, providing an overview of COVID-19 mitigation and recovery efforts, as well as new and continued investments in criminal justice reform, public safety, and infrastructure,” said the mayor’s office in an emailed statement. “The City-County Council will hear from agencies and departments at committee meetings throughout the next two months.”

Hogsett will also likely give details of what he would like to see in the city’s next budget. The address will start at 7:00 p.m EDT.
