INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – On Sunday, the Indiana State Department of Health announced 1,048 more COVID-19 cases and one additional death.
The new cases are from between Aug. 6 and Aug. 8 while the newly announced deaths are from Aug. 8.
In total, there are 74,328 COVID-19 cases and 2,835 deaths related to the virus in Indiana.
According to the department, there have been 841,125 tests administered in the state.
According to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, there have been more than 19,680,000 confirmed cases worldwide, with more than 11,962,000 recoveries and more than 727,000 deaths.
