LAWRENCE CO., Ind. — The bodies of two Indianapolis men were found Wednesday in the White River in Lawrence County.
State Conservation Officers found the body of Cung Hu, 38, of Indianapolis, about a half-mile south of the Williams Dam.
About six hours later, Conservation Officers found the body of 42-year-old Hrang Mang, of Indianapolis.
Witnesses said the two men were attempting to wade across the river to an island on Tuesday when they were swept away by the current.
State Conservation Officers searched the area Tuesday and Wednesday using sonar units, divers, and boats.
