INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Metro Police need help to identify people who were on the Canal Walk on the night of a fatal shooting.
Jessica Doty-Whitaker was shot while in the area of 729 Canal Court just before 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 5. She was taken to a hospital but died of her injuries.
Indy Metro Police detectives have several photos of people walking northbound on the east side of the canal from Indiana Avenue.
The people in the pictures may be witnesses or persons of interest to investigators.
Anyone who can identify anyone in the photos, or has information that can lead to the identity of any of the individuals, is asked to call the IMPD Homicide Office at 317-327-3475.
