INDIANAPOLIS — A body was found in Eagle Creek Reservoir early Friday morning.
Indiana Conservation Officer Jet Quillen said the Pike Township Fire Department located the floating body around 6:15.
“The body has been taken down to the Marion County Coroner’s Office, and they are working diligently to identify the victim that was taken from the water,” Quillen said.
They believe it could be the 21-year-old man the fire department has been searching for since Wednesday afternoon. The man was paddleboating with a woman on Eagle Creek before storms rolled in and caused both of them to go overboard. The woman was rescued and is now doing okay, but the man never resurfaced.
