MUNCIE, Ind. — The former director of student life at Ball State University has been indicted on federal charges for child porn.
James Hague was indicted June 24 in U.S. District Court on five different charges, each of them carrying up to 20 years in prison. The Star Press says Hague had images and videos of children engaging in sexually explicit conduct and sent them out from his iPhone 8. He distributed the images “in Delaware County…and elsewhere” on Jan. 12, May 17 and May 25.
Ball State released a statement saying they are aware of the situation but will not comment.
His trial will begin in Indianapolis on August 24.
