INDIANAPOLIS — Three people stabbed at a west side apartment complex Monday evening.
It happened at around 9:45 p.m. in an apartment complex along Portsmouth Avenue west of North Lynhurst Drive between West 10th and 16th streets.
Police went inside and discovered a woman who had been stabbed to death. Another woman and a man were also found inside still alive and had also been stabbed.
“Both the other two persons were transported to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition,” said Officer Genae Cook. “Despite best life-saving techniques the male at the hospital died of his injuries.”
Cook said they aren’t sure of a motive behind the stabbings yet. They are still trying ti figure out what led up to the incident.
