Food Maven JOLENE KETZENBERGER is compiling a “Community Cookbook” to raise money to help those in the hospitality industry affected by COVID-19. She wants your recipe! Submissions accepted online thru May 1st.
Noon – 4pm/Friday– The Bradley Center – Flanner Community Writer Center needs volunteers to make greeting cards for the elderly and others that are in isolation due to the pandemic. Your cards will be included in ongoing food deliveries.
7:30pm/Friday – “Helping you defeat boredom through live online interactive Improv!” The performers will be interacting with you on the Zoom platform and suitable for all ages.
6pm/Friday – Tune in virtually and LIVE anytime before 9pm. She’ll throw on the wheel and tell stories about the creativity behind her work. She’ll deliver your purchase FREE locally.
8am/Saturday at Binford Farmer’s Market – Advanced orders are available but not required. Plenty of vendors that do not take advanced orders will be on site! STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE! Open until noon.
10am/Saturday – To ensure families have the support they need through the COVID-19 crisis, families need to bring a driver’s license to pick up diapers. Each family can have one bundle per child.
POTTERY BY YOU & MORE is offering DIY FACE MASK Sewing kits for adults and kids to create with or without a sewing machine. Each kit comes with enough supplies to make 10 face masks.
Daily Thru April – Kids ages 12 and under are invited to enter their decorated coloring sheets, which are available HERE every Monday through April. Each design pays tribute to the heroes of today’s trying times. All decorated sheets will be delivered to our Hoosier Healthcare heroes, educators & businesses.
