INDIANAPOLIS — Over the weekend an Indy man stole a puppy from a Greenwood home.
40-year-old Jerry Maiden went into a woman’s home uninvited, and took her 8-month-old puppy, said the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman told police that Maiden believed she owed him money.
Police pulled Maiden’s car over and were able to return the puppy to the woman.
Maiden was taken to the Johnson County jail, and accused of theft, burglary/breaking and entering, and violating the stay-at-home order, said the Daily Journal.
