INDIANAPOLIS— Police are asking for help to find a man connected to a Saturday shooting that left one woman critically injured.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said they’re looking for Tyree Henning, 26, to speak to him about his role in the afternoon shooting.
IMPD officers were called to the 2100 block of North Shadeland Avenue just after 1 p.m. on reports of a person shot. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman shot in the parking lot of a Circle K gas station. She was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Detectives identified a possible suspect, whom they believe left the scene prior to officer’s arrival. The suspect then crashed his vehicle in the 2100 block of North Arlington Avenue with a child inside. The suspect fled and the child was left unharmed, according to IMPD.
It is unclear at this time what led to the shooting, but officers believe it might have been domestic-related.
