INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Metro police are investigating two homicides on the east side.

According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, two people have died.

Officers were first called to the 3000 block of Priscilla Avenue just before 2 a.m. on reports of shots fired in the area. When officers arrived to the scene, they found one male unresponsive in the street.

The victim was pronounced dead.

Officers were then called to the 3700 block of North Shadeland Avenue just before 3 a.m. on reports of a person shot. Officers found two men shot at the scene. One man was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.

The identities of the victims of the homicides have not yet been released.
