INDIANAPOLIS — Here are the most recent local cancellations and postponements caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Indy Parks Programs 

All Indy Parks programs (except for food programs) and rentals will be canceled through April 5. Gyms, weight rooms, and locker rooms will be closed. The family centers will remain open for food programs.

Indiana Global Economic Summit

The Indiana Global Economic Summit, scheduled for April 26 – 28, has been postponed by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.

The Visitors Center at White River State Park

The Visitors Center at White River State Park will close by order of Gov. Holcomb.

The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites

The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites will close to the public beginning Tuesday, by order of Gov. Holcomb.

Grand Park Sports Complex

Grand Park Sports Complex in Westfield is closed until further notice.

Elton John Concert

Elton John will postpone a portion of upcoming North American dates on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour including his Mar. 26 date at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse.

Carmel Clay Public Library

The Carmel Clay Public Library will be closed through April 12.  Items in circulation will have their due dates extended until the library reopens, according to Current in Carmel.

Bosma Enterprises – “Dining in the Dark: Cheers to Ten Years – A Masquerade Ball”

This fundraiser, originally scheduled for April 4, has been postponed until a later date.

Indiana Landmarks

All public tours and events sponsored by Indiana Landmarks have been postponed through the end of April.

Indianapolis Art Center

All programming is postponed, beginning March 13 and continuing through March 29.

Eskenazi Health

Effective at 2 p.m. Friday, no visitors will be allowed to Eskenazi Health facilities for the foreseeable future, with some exceptions. More information is available at the Eskenazi Health website.

Indianapolis Public Library

The Indianapolis Public Library has announced that all locations, as well as bookmobile services, will suspend services after 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 14 until further notice.

500 Festival

The 500 Festival is canceling events through April 11, including an April 4 training run for the Mini Marathon and all 500 Festival Princess outreach events.

Children’s Museum of Indianapolis

The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis will close temporarily from Saturday, March 14 – Saturday, March 28.

IndyHumane

The IndyHumane shelter and clinics will remain open, with the same operational hours. However, Sunday’s Puppy & Kitten Baby Shower has been canceled.

Indiana Flower + Patio Show at the Indiana State Fairgrounds

All events scheduled at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Events Center are suspended, including the Indiana Flower + Patio Show (scheduled for March 14 – 22).

Franklin Parks and Recreation Center

The Franklin Parks and Recreation Center will close beginning at 6 p.m. Friday and remain closed through April 6. All Parks and Recreation programming will be canceled during those dates.

Mooresville Consolidated Schools

Mooresville schools will be closing Monday, Mar. 16 and will not reopen until Apr. 6 at the earliest.

Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center

All events scheduled at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Events Center are suspended. Events that can be rescheduled, will be rescheduled in the coming weeks.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis

All 10 Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis are closed until further notice.

Monster Energy Supercross

The Monster Energy Supercross event originally scheduled for Saturday, Mar. 14 has been CANCELLED.

Dan & Shay Concert

The concert originally scheduled for Apr. 16 at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse has been postponed and will be rescheduled.

Bille Eilish Concert 

The concert originally scheduled for Mar. 25 at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse has been postponed and will be rescheduled.

ECHL Hockey Season Suspended

Indy Fuel games have been suspended until further notice by the ECHL.

Pike Township Schools

All Pike schools will be closed from March 13th – April 5th.

Northwest Hendricks Community Schools

North West Hendricks Community Schools will close at 4 pm on Friday, March 13, and remain closed until Monday, April 6.

Decatur Township Schools

Decatur Township Schools will be closed starting, Mar. 13. This will continue for the week of March 16th through Thursday, March 19th. Spring Break will officially begin on Friday, March 20th and go into the next week, March 23rd – March 27th.

Community School Corporation of Southern Hancock County

CSCSHC will be closed until after spring break. School is scheduled to return to session on Monday, April 6, 2020.

Washington Township Schools

Washington Township Schools will be closed March 13 – April 5, 2020.

Warren Township Schools

Under the guidance of the Marion County Public Health Department, all schools in MSD Warren Township will be closed beginning Friday, March 13th through Friday, March 20th

Lawrence Township Schools

Lawrence Township has canceled classes through April 5, 2020. There will be no preschool programming or child care on-site. Only essential staff should report to work.

Wayne Township Schools

Wayne Township will close Monday, Mar. 16 in accordance with a city mandate announced by Mayor. Joe Hogsett Thursday. The district will stay closed until after Spring Break.

Hamilton Southeastern Schools

Hamilton Southeastern Schools will close for students starting Monday, Mar. 16 through Thursday, Apr. 2. They will use a combination of E-Learning and waiver days granted by Gov. Holcomb.

Carmel Clay Schools

All Carmel schools will be in school Friday, Mar. 13, but will close in favor of E-Learning Days starting Mar. 16. The district expects the closure to last until Apr. 10.

National K9 Veterans’ Day Events

The March 13th and 14th National K9 Veterans’ Day Events set to take place in Plainfield has been canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Ascension St. Vincent Hospitals

St. Vincent says they are implementing visitor restrictions, similar to restrictions they use every year for the flu. All visitors will be screened at entrances before being allowed inside.

Avon Community Schools.

With a case of coronavirus confirmed within the district, Avon schools have already been closed and will continue to be closed until after the end of Spring Break. Students will likely return Apr. 6.

Brownsburg Community School Corporation

Brownsburg schools will be closed starting Friday, Mar. 13. The district says on their school website that the soonest students can expect to be back is Apr. 3 after spring break.

Westfield Washington Schools

Schools in Westfield will be closed until the middle of April.

Indianapolis Public Schools

IPS schools will be closed and on E-Learning Days starting on Monday, Mar. 16. The district is also canceling all planned field trips between now and Apr. 3.

Zionsville Community Schools 

Zionsville Community Schools will be off starting Friday, Mar. 13. E-learning days will then begin on Monday, Mar. 16.

Lebanon Community Schools 

Schools in the Lebanon Community School Corporation will close at 6 p.m. Thursday, Mar. 12, and will use e-learning days until Friday, Mar. 27. Schools are expected to return to normal on Monday, Apr. 6.

Indiana High School Athletic Association 

The IHSAA will only allow family and essential staff at the remaining games of the boys basketball tournament. A maximum of 75 people per team will be allowed, and they will all need to sit separately from one another. In addition, there will be no cheerleaders, pre-game or post-game handshakes, pep bands or dance teams.

The girls gymnastics state finals on Saturday, Mar. 14 will continue, but only with athletes and essential staff.

Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament

The Big Ten Conference is canceling the remainder of the Men’s Basketball Tournament. The ACC, Big East, Big 12, Pac-12 and Southeastern Conference have also canceled their men’s basketball tournaments.

Indy Eleven 

Indy Eleven is taking a 30-day hiatus, which will affect four dates on their 2020 regular season calendar: Mar. 14 at Sporting Kansas City II, Mar. 21 at St. Louis FC, Mar. 27 at New York Red Bulls II and Apr. 4 versus Louisville City FC.

Indiana State School Music Association

ISSMA has canceled all sponsored music events through Apr. 11. This includes all junior/middle/elementary concert organization festivals, as well as the ISSMA state show choir and jazz finals.

Indianapolis Children’s Choir

The ICC announced Thursday, Mar. 12 that it is canceling its events, including all rehearsals, classes and performances.

Michael Bublé at Bankers Life Fieldhouse

Michael Bublé was initially set to perform at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Apr. 1, but the tour is being postponed. All tickets will be honored when the show is rescheduled.

LEGO Brickworld 

LEGO Brickworld has been postponed. The expo was initially set for March 21 and 22. The new dates have yet to be announced.

Greenwood Community Center

The City of Greenwood will close its Community Center at 6 p.m. Friday, Mar. 13. The facility will remain closed until at least Mar. 30.

Indianapolis St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The 40th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, to be held on Friday, Mar. 13, has been canceled. Thursday’s greening of the canal and Saturday’s Shamrock Run Walk have also been canceled.

Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation

The FDIC announced Thursday, Mar. 12 that it is postponing FDIC International, its annual fire training conference and exhibition. The conference was initially set for Apr. 20 – 25 at the Indiana Convention Center. New dates have not yet been established.

March Madness

NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament canceled. This includes the Midwest Regional at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Division II Tournament set to be hosted at the University of Indianapolis is also canceled.
