FORT WAYNE, Ind. — He claims to have killed more than 90 women across the country, now, he’s confessed that two of those women were from Indiana.

It was October 1980 when both 18-year-old Valeria Boyd and 31-year-old Mary Ann Porter of Fort Wayne were strangled to death by Samuel Little.

In an interview with Allen County Police at a Texas prison, Little told detectives he picked up both women near Maumee and Division Streets in Fort Wayne at separate times. He then strangled them while they were in his car, and dumped the bodies in different areas of Allen County.

A worker discovered Boyd’s body in a field near Conners Road on Nov. 4, said WOWO, while Porter’s body was found over a month later near West Wallen Road. Until recently both had turned into cold case homicides.

Allen County officials were notified by the F.B.I after Little was interviewed by a Texas Ranger on Sept. 25, 2018, and he provided details on his murders throughout the U.S.

Little is being held in California as his cases are being investigated. The investigations of the two Fort Wayne women have been turned over to the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
