FISHERS, Ind. — The Fishers Police Department has welcomed a new police dog to the force.
K-9 Rico will be joining officer Jarred Koopman. Rico is 14-months-old and is a Belgian Malinois.
He’ll be a dual purpose narcotics K-9 and has three more weeks of training with Koopman, said the department in a Facebook post.
Rico is joining the force after the department lost K-9 Harlej in November.
