INDIANAPOLIS — Two people are in custody following a short vehicle pursuit Friday morning.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the pursuit began after someone at a business on Roosevelt Avenue reported two suspicious people in a van.

IMPD officers attempted to pull the vehicle over around 4:30 a.m. and the driver of the van refused to comply with officers, which led to the chase.

In the area of Martin Luther King Jr and 21st streets, the driver lost control of the van and tried to run away on foot. However, the driver and the second suspect were both apprehended.

Police said the driver of the van had a warrant and the van was stolen.

There were no injuries involved in the incident.
