MONTICELLO, Ind. — Thousands of people have signed a change.org petition to save Indiana Beach.
The petition, started by a man named Dustin Springer, has collected more than 25,000 signatures in just two days.
The petition is aimed at park owner Apex Parks Group, which closed the 94-year-old amusement park earlier this week.
“Maybe, just maybe, someone out there can save our little jewel of a park. Let’s band together as a community, as we all have the same love for Indiana Beach, and sign this petition, maybe someone will see how much Indiana Beach is loved and will save our park buy purchasing it!” Springer wrote on the petition.
