It’s Presidents Day and many have the day-off to enjoy! If you are looking to get the family out of the house, there’s plenty of ways to celebrate the holiday –and for FREE.

Conner Prairie

For a day celebrating historic leaders, Conner Prairie is a great place to celebrate. With free admission, you can meet some of our great US Presidents, vote on your favorite Presidential facial hair, storytime, and more. The best part is you can participate in games and activities inside the Welcome Center with other historical friends from the past 200 years.

Children’s Museum

Admission is free to celebrate the 100th anniversary of women gaining the right to vote. Hear Mary Todd Lincoln’s story, learn about voting rights, and of course enjoy the museum as a whole!

Benjamin Harrison’s Home

Celebrate President’s Day at a PRESIDENT’S home! Step back in time to 1891 and learn what life was like for the Harrisons. For Presidential Site Members it’s free to tour the home. Adults are $12 and Children are $7.

Indiana State Museum

Free admission is being offered today for the state museum. Participate in historic activities like designing a lunar lander for JFK’s mission to the moon, become an inventor like Lincoln, or deliver your own presidential speech.

Skateland

If you need to burn some energy with the kids, today is All Day Troll Skate. It’s only $1 to skate before noon after it is $12.
