Bill Clinton’s book tour isn’t off to a good start. While promoting, “The President is Missing,” the book he co-wrote with author James Patterson, Bill got into it with NBC anchor Craig Melvin on the Today Show. The conversation took a sharp turn when Melvin brought up the #metoo movement and the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Bill didn’t play it quite right, as he portrayed himself as a victim and said the scandal was only being presented from “one side.” Clinton also said he didn’t think he owed Monica Lewinsky an apology.
“Even the folks that carried the Clinton water for a long time, CNN and MSNBC, thought this interview was awkward… Meanwhile Juanita Broaddrick is sitting there saying ‘Where is my apology?’”
