WHITESTOWN, Ind. – Rockwell Automation plans to bring hundreds of jobs to Boone County.
Milwaukee-based Rockwell Automation has announced plans to consolidate its Illinois and Tennessee operations into a new facility in Whitestown, reports Inside Indiana Business.
IIB says the move will bring more than 230 jobs to the area over the next five years.
The 369,000 square-foot facility at the All Points at Anson Development near I-65 is expected to be up and running by next spring, Rockwell officials tell IIB.
Current Rockwell employees affected by the closings in Champaign, Ill. and Memphis, Tenn. can apply now for positions at the Whitestown facility. Additional hiring is expected to begin within the next few weeks; information can be found here.
