Law enforcement in Broward County, Florida, says a hoax call drew deputies and a SWAT team Tuesday morning to the home of David Hogg, a student gun control activist and survivor of the February mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Swatting is the action of reporting a fake emergency to 911 in order to have armed officers arrive at a given location.

WIBC host Tony Katz explained what happened Wednesday, telling listeners this was not a prank; it was attempted murder.
