President Donald Trump on issued a tweet regarding migrants on Sunday, saying, “We cannot allow all of these people to invade our country.”

Naturally, the left was triggered.

Trump’s tweet continued, “When somebody comes in, we must immediately, with no Judges or Court Cases, bring them back from where they came. Our system is a mockery to good immigration policy and Law and Order.”

For his part, WIBC host Tony Katz is calling for rational dialog and common sense as administration officials, media outlets, and political pundits continue to wade into the treacherous waters of the immigration debate.

“I want legal immigration; I favor legal immigration; I want those who have gone through the immigration process legally being allowed into the country; I want people who want to make the country their home and don’t want to tell me how great it was back in their home country…

…And the idea of merit? We should absolutely want people who are the best and the brightest.

As to the President’s comments about sending people back with no judges and no courts, well, it depends on how you read the law and how you interpret the law. But if you want to change the law, okay, but you’re going to need to get yourself the 60 votes in the U.S. senate and you’re going to need to get the democrats on your side.”
