SHELBY COUNTY, Ind.–A helicopter used for crop-dusting crashed Friday night and killed the pilot.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said it happened around 6 pm between a cornfield and a tree line near the Shelby-Rush county line. The pilot was the only person on the helicopter.
The FAA is trying to figure out how the helicopter crashed.
The model is considered a light helicopter with a single rotor and a single engine.
