Costco shoppers are encountering changes at the food court after the retail giant revamped its menu to appeal to more health-conscious shoppers.

According to an article in the Seattle Times, the Polish hot dog is going away at many Costco stores to make room for new items. Ah, but rest easy Costco diners: the original all-beef hot dog combo — sold for $1.50 with a soda — is not going away.

The big news of the revamp was that announcement that an organic burger will now be on the menu, but what EXACTLY does “organic hamburger” mean in the tradition of Costco? WIBC host Tony Katz pondered the question during his afternoon radio show Monday.

“They haven’t told me whether organic means organic beef or no beef. Like I’m expecting it to be a vegan burger. I don’t trust these people; I don’t trust them at all.”
