MONTICELLO, Ind. — A roller coaster at Indiana Beach was shut down Sunday after a tree limb fell onto the track and was hit by a passenger car.

No one was hurt in the crash, which happened Sunday afternoon on the Hoosier Hurricane coaster, Indiana Beach spokesperson said Sunday.

Maintenance crews removed the dead tree limb after the ride ended and closed the attraction.

The coaster will be closed until a full inspection has been completed, the park said.

The ride could reopen as early as Monday.
