WASHINGTON--A biography of Mike Pence detailing how he ended up alongside President Trump will be in stores soon.
The Indianapolis Star reports that it’s called “The Path to Power” and is written by Andrea Neal. Neal is a former reporter for the Star. She also was appointed to the State Board of Education by Pence when he was the Indiana Governor in 2013.
Neal writes about Pence’s early political career, his rise to Governor, his time in radio, and how he became Vice President alongside President Trump.
She poses the question, “How could a biblically based Christian so readily align himslef with a man prone to flout the most recognized rules of civility?”
Neal told the Star the answer to that question is up to the reader. The book goes on sale August 1.
