INDIANAPOLIS – A company which manufactures bottled water says it is building a new facility in southern Indiana and expanding its current facility near Indianapolis.

 

Niagra Bottling, LLC says it is building a $56 million factory in Jeffersonville.  The company says it plans to create up to 49 new jobs and be open and running by spring 2019. 

 

In addition, Niagra Bottling is spending more than $6 million to build on to its existing factory in Plainfield at 1250 Whitaker Road.  The company says the expansion will bring eight new jobs with it.

 

Niagra already has 29 other bottling factories across the United States and Mexico and has more than 4,000 employees.

 

The California-based company bottles and manufactures several different types of water and sports drinks.
