NBA star LeBron James called out President Donald Trump during an interview on Monday night for what the James called “racial tensions” in America… And then proceeded to explain that while he would never sit down and engage in a dialogue with Trump, he would be open to speaking with former President Barack Obama.

Irony is apparently a concept that Lebron James doesn’t quite fully understand.

“He’s kinda used sports to kinda divide us,” James told CNN’s Don Lemon. “And that’s something that I can’t relate to because I know that sport was the first time I was around someone white.”

WIBC host Tony Katz called out Lebron James for his hypocrisy:

Katz:

“You talk about the divisions in the country, yet you won’t talk to the guy you have the problem with? How does that help anything? How does that help anything at all? If we’ve learned anything, it’s that we have to sit down and have a dialogue because that’s the way you come to an understanding and an agreement. That’s the way you go about finding solutions to problems.”
