Nearly all major digital content platforms have raced to ban controversial radio host Alex Jones, following Apple’s decision to remove five podcasts by Jones and his Infowars website.

Facebook removed four pages controlled by Jones, while Google removed the official “Alex Jones Channel” on its platform. The YouTube channel for InfoWars still remains live, however. Pinterest also removed the InfoWars board, while Spotify took down his most well-known show completely.

WIBC host Tony Katz commented on the Alex Jones ban as it relates to speech censorship:

“If you wanna know where your collusion is, it’s Apple, Facebook and YouTube. That’s where the collusion is. Clearly they’ve – what, they all made this decision independently quite literally on the same day? Stop it.

…But look, if you don’t have free speech, you don’t have speech. That’s why I don’t believe in this idea of hate speech.”
