LINTON, Ind. — Police in Greene County are looking for a woman who hit an ambulance with her car and then drove away.

Linton Police Chief Troy Jerell tells WBIW-AM that a silver four-door Hyundai crashed into an ambulance that was on its way to an emergency Saturday afternoon.

The driver is described as a white woman wearing purple pants, a pink or red shirt, and a baseball cap. She was last seen driving east — without a front bumper and driver-side headlight — on State Road 54.

No one was hurt in the crash and the ambulance has only minor damage.

Call the Linton Police Department at  (812) 847-4411 with any tips.
