Local Author, Donna Griffin has written a new children’s book titled, “Old Whiskers Escapes!”. It’s the true story of President Benjamin Harrison’s pet goat that lived on the grounds of the White House. Gary Varvel, the Cartoonist at the Indianapolis Star did the illustrations, and he and Donna stopped by The First Day to talk about the story.
