HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind.–A warning to parents has been issued by the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department over “marijuana candy.”

The Sheriff’s Department calls them gummy candy squares. They are not your average fruit gummy snacks.

They say they are laced with THC, which is the chemical responsible for most of marijuana’s psychological effects.

You can see the letters “THC” on the piece of candy that is sugar coated.

If you see this type of candy, be sure to call the drug tip line in Hancock County. That number is 317-477-DRUG.
