Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Brown is rooting for President Donald Trump to secure a second term in 2020.

Despite criticism from many other prominent athletes, Brown is 100{67cfbb0b132a6b5b3ee724f4f3e93544eae70154f8be103048380fa52e4548d8} pro-Trump.

“I should be criticizing Trump on every level because he does certain things that call for criticism,” he said Tuesday on the JT The Brick Show on Fox Sports Radio. “But when I look at television I see all these announcers become experts and they’re pointing the fingers and they’re not doing a doggone thing but pointing their fingers, I find myself really pulling for the president.”

WIBC host Tony Katz pondered how Brown’s pro-Trump comments will be interpreted in light of current tensions in the country and the left’s accusations that the President is a racist:

“There’s been a tremendous conversation nationwide about race and racism and this idea that President Trump is a racist, and that if you’re black and you meet with President Trump, you’ve sold out.

So I question now – almost in a curiosity – how [Jim Brown’s] comments are going to get handled.”
