Country music superstar Garth Brooks is scheduled to become the very first artist to ever perform concert inside legendary Notre Dame Stadium.

For Brooks, the reigning Country Music Association entertainer of the year, the October 20th concert will fulfill ‘a childhood dream.’

“Notre Dame Stadium has seen so many iconic moments!” Brooks said in the release. “I look forward to bringing a new kind of crazy to the party.”

Tickets don’t officially go on sale until September 14th, but Brooks’ most enthusiastic fans – including Nigel’s wife – are already making their plans.

Nigel:

“Dude, my wife freaked out this morning. We’ve already got a hotel booked for South Bend. She couldn’t find a room and so she went onto Expedia, and rooms were disappearing quite literally every second. She finally got one, and we don’t even have tickets yet for the concert!”

Hammer:

“You guys went to the show when he was in Indy, right?”

Nigel:

“Oh yeah, my wife? Garth Brooks is the soundtrack to her childhood. And I’m not even a big Garth Brooks fan, but the show was so amazing and he’s such an incredible performer that I absolutely had a great time. This show at Notre Dame is a very big deal.
