INDIANAPOLIS — This baby just couldn’t wait.
While fire fighters were fighting a house fire on North Chester Avenue, the woman next door went into labor.
Saturday morning neighbors heard smoke alarms coming from a home and helped wake the family.
The Indianapolis Fire Department says four people were inside at the time and will be okay.
However, while IFD was trying to put out the fire a woman next door to the house went into labor.
The baby was delivered inside the ambulance, on the way to the hospital. IFD say both the mother and baby are fine.
