SPEEDWAY, Ind. — The Brickyard 400 has been postponed to Monday.
NASCAR said Sunday the Green flag will drop at 2:00 p.m EDT Monday afternoon. It will follow the Xfinity Series Lilly Diabetes 250 , which will start at 10 a.m.
The remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon are to blame for the decision to postpone the race. Friday’s practice sessions as well as Saturday’s practice and qualifying were all rained out.
The field for the Brickyard 400 has been set based on the current regular season points standings. Two-time winner Kyle Busch is the pole sitter followed by Kevin Harvick who will start on the outside of Row One.
Pre-race coverage from the IMS Radio Network will begin at 1:00 p.m. EDT on 107.5 and 1070 The Fan.
