BROWNSTOWN, Ind. – A Seymour man has been accused of killing a 19-year-old woman originally from Lebanon.

Brian Michael Cogdill, 44, was arrested and charged with the murder of Emma Jean Jamison, who was living and working in Seymour at the time of her death.

According to the Seymour Tribune, investigators believe Jamison was killed Thursday at a home north of Seymour.

Police haven’t given out many details about their investigation, but they believe Cogdill and Jamison may have been in a relationship at some point.

Cogdill is in the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown with no bond.  If convicted, he could face up to 65 years in prison.
