Fox News host Jesse Watters is well known for his direct style and unique sense of humor on shows like “The Five”, the former ratings giant “The O’Reilly Factor” and of course, “Watters World”, which he hosts on Saturday nights.

Watters joined the Hammer and Nigel show for an exclusive interview Friday.

Out of the gate, Watters weighed in on a late Friday afternoon bombshell report from the New York Times saying Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein last year suggested secretly recording President Trump to expose chaos in the White House and enlisting Cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove him from office.

Watters:

“Never a dull moment, guys. Is Rosenstein the anonymous op-ed writer? At this point, it looks like he is. But if you read between the lines, Rosenstein was paranoid, he was unbalanced, and he was fragile. He wanted to wear a wire? I mean even if you’re joking about that –  I’m not convinced he was – but then to go on to invoke the 25th Amendment and conspire to recruit other administration officials to take Trump out is just mind-boggling. And this was the mindset he was in right before appointing Robert Mueller. Was this the insurance policy?”

Watters also discussed the allegations of sexual assault against Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Democrats’ attempts to delay a vote on his confirmation.

“I don’t know what happened with Dr. Ford. Maybe something happened, maybe it didn’t, we’re never going to get to the truth. With that said, I believe she believes something happened, but I’m also very skeptical because of her political activities in the past, the way she lawyered up and took a polygraph before she said she even wanted to become a public figure.

…And the way they’re dragging it out makes me think Democrats don’t care about what happened 35 years ago, they care about obstructing, and that’s just sad because ultimately this just makes it less likely for real victims of sexual assault to come out and tell the truth.”
