FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Roaches are the reason two Fort Wayne restaurants closed down this week.

First, it was Casa Ristorante on West Jefferson Blvd. The restaurant closed Wednesday afternoon, after the Health Department found the roaches near a drain and inside an electrical panel.

WOWO reports that the bugs were exterminated and Casa Ristorante reopened later that night.

The next day, Bob Evans at the Village of Coventry was shut down after inspectors found roaches living among clean plates and the food prep area.

That restaurant was closed, and won’t reopen until it’s been treated and cleaned.
